Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes Review
Initial Expectations
I watched the “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes,” Movie and the movie was Great… I mean, earlier I understood that this year was going to be the year of the monkey Movies. Because first of all, we saw the “Godzilla X Kong,” Movie and after that, the “Monkey Man” Movie didn’t release. And it seems like it won’t happen. But finally, we got to see “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes.” I didn’t expect much from the movie because the old three parts were very good. And the fourth part, generally, whenever a movie is made, it feels like it’s a bit forced and there won’t be much interest in it. And the studio people must have made it because of the lack of vitamin M, like “Pirates of the Caribbean.” But the movie proves otherwise.
Watching the Previous Movies
If you’re thinking about whether you need to watch the old three movies before watching this movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes or not, then not that much. The movie is a fresh start in a way. This will also be converted into a trilogy. But this movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is self-sufficient in its way. The events that happened in the old movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes are well explained. On top of that, the movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes takes place many years after the events of the old movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. It has been about 200-300 years since Caesar was killed. And after that, these new apes have come. So all the characters in this movie take a fresh start. If you are going to watch this movie without watching all the old movies, your work will still be done. However, watching the old movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will give you a better understanding of what is happening in this movie and what happened in the whole universe.
The Movie’s Storyline
Speaking of shitstorms, the story of the movie Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is such that after 200-300 years of the previous movie, the world has completely changed. The apes have moved to different tribes. And we see a new tribe whose main character is trying to make his place in his tribe. But then his encounter happens with a person who has now become a sort of myth in this world. He doesn’t know them the way he used to know them in the old movies. And from there, things start to go wrong. Will our main character, Noah, be able to fix all these things or not? You will understand this after watching the movie.
Story Development
If we keep VFX aside and talk about the story, because we didn’t just go to watch VFX in the movie, we can see that in many other movies too. Leaving “Adipurush,” let’s not go there. Secondly, if we talk about the story, then the story takes its time. It’s not like you enter the movie and you get to see the action from the start. No. The story takes its time to build because it connects you with the characters. They introduce you to them. Because it’s a new trilogy with all new characters, you will understand from the start that they are taking their time with everything. They are introducing you to a new world, and they are in no hurry. And that is important because, through that, you start differentiating all the monkeys from each other. This is Noah, this is his brother, these are the other members of his family, and how they feel different from each other.
The Villain Proximus
If I have any complaint, it would be that they had printed the movie’s villain everywhere on the trailer and posters. His name was Proximus, and he is everywhere, except for the movie. His introduction is quite late, and he doesn’t even come into focus as an antagonist. Feeling like a threat is very far-fetched, although they tried to create a good atmosphere around him with his commander and right-hand man. But he does not feel like a very significant threat.

Final Thoughts
Overall, “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” is a very good movie. I wasn’t expecting much from it, but it genuinely surprised me. I strongly recommend watching it in theaters. Just like the old “Planet of the Apes” trilogy was set up in its first part, this is also set up in the same place. Dare I say, better. I would like to see in which direction the franchise moves from here. And yes, there is no such kiss scene. I don’t know how they will be in this picture. I watched it in Hindi dub in 2D, and my experience was quite good. The Hindi dub movie is great and worth watching. So, you guys can go enjoy it. By the way, if you haven’t seen my Superman video, it will be somewhere here.
